Criteria for Extended Lunch

Advisory is assigned every 6 weeks, after grades come out. All freshmen are assigned advisory, regardless of grades. Freshmen are only eligible for extended lunch during the last grading period of the year.

Students in grades 10-12 who meet the following criteria are eligible for extended lunch instead of advisory. Those students must have a parent permission slip on file, allowing them to have extended lunch. During extended lunch, students must wear a school-issued lanyard with a current PLHSID card attached, with the current extended lunch sticker applied.

The current criteria are:
No F or D grades
No U or N citizenship grades
At least a 3.0 GPA
Proficient or above on the CST from the year before (CST scores will only be used to determine advisory placement during the second grading period this year)
