New Student Information

All parents must make an appointment to register at Point Loma High School.

Appointments are now being set for mid April for families joining us from charter/private schools.

Each family must complete an enrollment packet, which can be obtained in the Attendance Office.

Please come to your appointment with the following information:

*Proof of Residency-for verification of residence you will be required to submit one of the following:

  1. Escrow papers or rental agreement and a California Driver's License or ID card with the new address
  2. Utility bill (gas, water or electric) No Phone Bill
  3. Non resident student must be accepted into CHOICE, VEEP or No Child Left Behind

*Immunization Record-Obtain a copy from previous school or family doctor/clinic

*Transcript of Grade-Obtain an official or unofficial copy from the previous school in order for your counselor to make appropriate placement, Special education records & copies of testing, standard test results, etc.

After all of the above information is collected and completed:

  1. Attendance office will input your information into the mainframe computer
  2. See the school nurse for health history or issues
  3. Meet with the school counselor to schedule you for classes

Enrollment hours: 8:30-11 AM and 12:30-1:30
