OPTIMIST SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM 2020
The Optimist Club of Point Loma, an affiliate of Optimist International, has for many years recognized outstanding students at Point Loma High School through its Scholarship Program. This year, our club will be awarding college scholarships to selected graduating seniors of Point Loma High School. The specific amount of any award will be determined by the Club's Scholarship Committee, and past awards have ranged to as high as $6,000!
This program is open to graduating seniors of Point Loma High School who reside in the Point Loma, Ocean Beach, Loma Portal and Midway communities of San Diego as defined by Postal Service Zip Codes 92106, 92107 and 92110.
Each interested candidate is asked to complete an official Entry Form along with a typed biographical sketch up to two pages in length. The Entry Form and Bio must be delivered to Ms. Sarah Brandl with the Point Loma High School Counselors' Office no later than Friday, May 8, 2020.

Scholarships for students of Portuguese Descent. These are both aimed at seniors attending college in the fall. The application deadline is July 1, 2021 (to accommodate students affected by Covid-19.)
